We offer $8 flat rate ground shipping within the continental US. If an order is particularly heavy or bulky, or contain items from multiple makers, a surcharge will be added at checkout based on weight, shipping distance and the number of packages. We are not yet shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and other non-continental US territories.
In order to keep prices as low as possible and minimize our environmental footprint, all items are shipped to you directly from the artisan. Most items ship within 2-3 business days of placing your order via standard ground shipping, which generally takes 3-5 business days to arrive. Some of our products are made to order and have longer lead times. Each product's lead time is clearly indicated on the product listing in the "Shipping + Return" tab.
Once your order has been processed, we'll provide you tracking information. Orders containing items from multiple makers will be shipped separately and you will receive tracking information for each.
Ordering last minute and need an item in a rush? CONTACT US and we will do everything we can to make it happen!
Our standard return period is 14 days as marked by the delivery date on your tracking information. However, some of our items are made to order by small artisans who cannot accept returns. Each product's return policy is clearly indicated on the product listing in the "Shipping + Return" tab.
All returns must be made via our RETURNS MANAGER. Returns made outside of the Returns Manager system will not be accepted.
Carpenter Hill makes it easy to give better gifts. Once you've added products to your Shopping Cart, you can specify the order is a gift and add a gift message (the gift message field will appear when you select "Yes"). All orders with gift messages will automatically include a gift receipt. After composing your message, select "Continue to Checkout" to proceed with the order.
If you'd like to ship the gift directly to the recipient, please enter his or her shipping information in the "Shipping Address" field during checkout. You will be able to input your billing address by selecting "Use a different billing address" below your credit or debit card information on the Payment Method page.
