The first time Beth Ann Sweeney went to Europe, she fell in love with vintage copper. One day, while walking through Portobello, she met a sweet woman who sold restored Georgian copper cookware. They were like nothing she had ever seen before - there was such a difference between this vintage copper and the mass-produced modern day cookware she was familiar with in large chain stores. She bought her first vintage copper piece that day and that stockpot became her inspiration for Coppermill Kitchen.
Coppermill Kitchen was first established as a luxury brand of restored antique copper cookware. In 2013, Coppermill Kitchen launched a private manufacturing label of new products called CMK, inspired by antique and unique pieces, but recreated here in America.
Copper has been used for more than 500 years and continues to be the centerpiece to any sophisticated kitchen today. Although copper can be used simply as elegant décor, master chefs throughout the world have traditionally used copper cookware for its unique characteristics and its ability to produce the finest cuisines.
Beth Ann Sweeney's love for copper, guarantee of quality craftsmanship, and commitment US manufacturing makes each CMK piece an heirloom that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
